Resource ReportPurposeTo report monthly the status of the work, issues and risks for each resource group. Derivation and Source RequirementsThe Resource Report is derived from the Work Packages, verbal reports from Team Members, the Risk Log and the Issues Log. CompositionAs a minimum a Resource Report should cover the following items · Date · Period Covered · Budget Status – Cost to complete in man-hours and expenses for all active deliverables · Schedule Status – Completion date for all active deliverables. · Deliverables completed during the period · Actual or potential problems and risk updates · Deliverables to be completed during the next period · Project issue status – for all issues assigned to this section. · Budget and schedule impact of any changes. Active Deliverables are deliverables that are scheduled and/or deliverables that are currently being worked on. Quality CriteriaAre all the active deliverables reported on? Does the Resource Report identify the Costs to Completed and expected completion date for all active deliverables? Have any Risks being identified or being closed by this resource group during the reporting period? Are all the relevant issues reported? Has everybody who is working on the Work Package had their work covered? Quality Method and SkillsThe Team Manager/Team Leader for each section will complete the Resource Report. The costs to complete and predicted completion date should be factual and not show any significant changes between reports. The resources involved should be able to understand and agree with the report. |
